Welcome to HACKxAMRITA 2.0 – where creativity meets code, and ideas turn into action! Hosted by the Prachurya Club at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati, this 30-hour hackathon is more than just a coding event; it's an electrifying experience of innovation, teamwork, and pure adrenaline as we create, connect, and compete!

Roll up your sleeves and jump straight into project mode—over the next 30 hours, you and your team will brainstorm, code, experiment, troubleshoot, and most importantly, have a blast working together.

New to hackathons? No worries! Our team will be there to cheer you on, ensuring you have a fantastic time and enjoy the collaborative spirit of the event. It's all about learning, experimenting, and having fun as you connect with fellow participants and unleash your creativity!

Throughout the hackathon, judges will stop by to check in with each team, getting a glimpse of your progress, creativity, and dedication. As the event comes to a close, we'll wrap up with an exciting prize distribution ceremony—a chance to celebrate your hard work, innovation, and maybe even claim a prize and some serious bragging rights!

Prachurya Club is a vibrant student-led club at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati, where we dive into cybersecurity, tech, and creativity! We host hackathons, coding workshops, and tech talks—basically, if it's techy and fun, we're in!

It's easy! Just gather the required details for each team member (name, registration ID, email, etc.), then click the Register Now button on our website to fill out the form. Don't wait too long—registrations close on informed Date and Time. So rally your team and sign up soon!

Great question! Each team can submit just one idea for the hackathon. So, bring your best concept forward, focus on making it amazing, and wow the judges with a standout project!

Rules and Guidelines

Team & Project Setup

Team Formation: Teams of 5 members are allowed, with cross-branch, cross-year, and interdisciplinary team formations encouraged.
Project Alignment: Projects must align with the given themes or problem statements and follow event guidelines.
Hackathon Schedule: The hackathon runs for 30 hours, starting at the announced time. All work must be completed within this period.
Mentorship Interaction: Each team will get a 15–20 minute mentorship slot on Day 2 for feedback and refinement.

Development & Submission

Original Work: All code must be original and developed during the hackathon. Exact replicas of any already existing websites are strictly prohibited, whereas solutions with changes and additional features are encouraged (open-source libraries, frameworks, and GPT tools are allowed).
Deployment: Projects must be locally deployed and should not rely on direct-use software or pre-built platforms for primary functionality. Direct deployment on tools like website builders or no-code platforms is prohibited. All code should be developed and run independently to demonstrate original work.
Independence: Each team must work independently; cross-team collaboration is prohibited. Mentors and organizers are available for guidance.
Project Presentation: At the hackathon's end, selected teams will present its project, showcasing functionality, features, and innovations.
Judging Criteria: Judging will consider innovation, technical implementation, user experience, scalability, and theme relevance. The judges' decision is final.
Project Ownership: Participants retain full ownership of their projects, though selected projects may be showcased by organizers.
Submission Deadline: Teams must submit all code and documentation by the deadline. Late submissions may result in disqualification.
Post-Event Sharing: Post-event, participants may share projects with the wider community (e.g., on GitHub).
Backup & Version Control: Teams are encouraged to use GitHub or GitLab for version tracking. Commits will help verify progress authenticity.

Evaluation & Conduct

Code of Conduct: All participants must adhere to a code of conduct promoting inclusivity, respect, and professionalism.
Media Use Consent: By participating, you consent to media use of photos, videos, or project details by organizers for promotional purposes.
Liability: Organizers hold no liability for damages, losses, or injuries. Participants are responsible for their own safety and equipment.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes will be resolved through the organizers' final decisions. Rule changes may occur and will be promptly communicated to all.
Checkpoint Evaluation: Mentors may perform mid-hackathon checkpoints to ensure progress and originality.
